This one's just plain camp.

Warning: Spoilers
The way Teresa Graves just runs up on stage, pushing planned singer Dianne Harper out of the way and ends up with a recording contract thanks to producer Tim O'Connor is one of the best bad TV moments ever. She's investigating the suspicious death of a popular singer (Frank Sinatra Jr. In a cameo) and needs an "in". How long before she's exposed as a phony?

Even in sequins and heels, Christie can flip a full grown man over her back, and quickly come back with a wisecrack just after she's nearly been strangled. It's silly unrealistic "Valley of the Dolls" style melodrama with Graves getting to show off her sultry singing voice and even befriending Harper in the process. When confronted with a bowl of "dolls", Graves has the funniest reaction. Still predictable and extra cheesy.
