This is a very nice episode, made when major singing stars still appeared on TV shows ... of course it helped that there were still musical variety shows hosted by major stars for them to appear on.
Neil Diamond performed three of his hits. The big number of the night was Suleiman, with a black dance troop performing a choreographed number in traditional African style. It was an impressive number, but would probably get blasted in today's strange environment.
Linda Ronstadt was beautiful and sang as well as always. I believe she performed Blue Bayou as one of her numbers.
Larry Storch was hot in the day, having come recently off F-Troop, but honestly, his bits were more silly than anything else.
I hadn't seen Liberace since other variety shows when I was a kid. His spots impressed me enough I bought a double CD of his best stuff. Great performer, and that's not just his technical expertise on the piano.
