A mean spirited food critic visits the Golden Palace for the grand re-opening (nearly six months after Blanche, Rose and Sophia moved in), and dies, apparently poisoned by Chewy whose cuisine he had previously criticized. It is up to the group to get the body out of the hotel restaurant undetected and hide it in various places, and this leads to a screwy situation I've seen in many sitcoms and movies over the years, done a lot funnier and with more delicious twists than are shown here. (Apparently, the plot was taken directly from "Fawlty Towers", a British sitcom that had already been done ironically as an American sitcom, "Amanda's by the Sea", starring their former "Golden Girls" co-star, Bea Arthur, and that plot line was also used on that show as well. It seems rushed together as it lacks in laughs outside the usual supply of wisecracks, making it one of the least memorable of the series.
