I am a huge fan of Midnight Caller, having watched it when it was released over 30 years ago. Definitely compelling viewing, and it's a felony offence that such a highly regarded and thought provoking series has never been released on DVD.
Anyway, this is the series finale for season 2, and Jack is really introspective and an emotional wreck on-air and off. Devon is an emotional wreck with her boyfriend Richard Clark who is played by James Read. Interestingly, in season 3 Richard is played by Christopher Lawford, of the Kennedy family (sadly Christopher Lawford died in 2018)
Anyway, Rick Braun's sultry jazz soundtrack does much to make Midnight Caller what it is.
