And Murphy thought secretaries were her only problem.

Warning: Spoilers
The news team of FYI has to come up with a heartwarming story to balance out all the depressing news stories they handle, and in interviewing a variety of simple people, all she finds are complete nuts. There's a public aiding politician who is revealed to be involved in a sex scandal, a nutty bird woman sitting in Murphy's office covered in birds, and a wacky singing nun. Murphy is very cynical when Ethan Phillips shows up, a helper of the homeless. Everything is fine until they get on the air and Phillips uses his airtime for another purpose, a rant that has the staff stunned and the studio audience in stitches, some of the loudest constant laughs I've heard on the story. As usual, the FYI staff handles it with their typical grace and tact, which means no grace and tact. Phillips, best known for "Benson", starts off calm and sedate, and errupts like a volcano, giving a performance that is a far cry than anything else I've seen him in.
