Better/badder than I thought it would be
starviewfarm22 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
I wasn't expecting this episode to be as good/bad as it was but was happily surprised that I decided to give it a viewing. I usually stick to the older black and white MST3K movies but this 1970's flick is quite a time capsule especially in light of the current security checks and what not of "modern" air travel. The movie is so bad/good in itself but some of the best laughs come when Mike is doing his Urkle impersonation and some classic MST3K "characters" show up to laugh along - Jan in a pan and Torgo were my favorites.

Seeing Dr. Forester and TV's Frank shirtless at the beginning was a bit disturbing, but funny none the less.

Give this episode of MST3K a try; I don't think you will be disappointed.

Routine 1970 Airport Disaster Movie Torn To Shreds By Comedians
StuOz7 December 2016
San Francisco International (1970) can't really be called a bad movie (unlike some of the other stuff the "Mystery" guys satire) but it seems rather silly when the guys make all these comical observations about what we are seeing and hearing on the screen!

The most amusing moment comes when a trouble making hippy is questioned at the airport. This scene would have been nothing without the comedy comments playing over it.

Very sarcastic jokes are made about Pernell Roberts, I wonder what Roberts would think if he knew his work was ridiculed this way?

The later sections of the film involve a kid causing all sorts of problems and the hysterical jokes need to be heard to be believed.

Great comedy!
