Temptations

Warning: Spoilers
The four siblings fall in temptation. Bailey steals Kate of her boyfriend Tom, who seemingly is a good guy. He pushes for a date, Kate accepts, so after a good time, he tells her to choose. Will tried to convince Bailey of not pursue Kate, he was present here to make him take the right way, but he didn't listen. In the process, Tom is hurt, Kate is uncomfortable and Bailey has doubts, but finally he suceeds, and they get together like if nothing happened. Will is still behaving good, and Bailey started well but now he has this mistake on his record. On the other hand, Kirsten tells Charlie that her mother will be in town, that is an old fashioned girl and she planned a dinner so they meet. But he already had plans with some old friends from highschool, Mike and Rebecca. When Bailey comes and reveals that Rebecca was Charlie's ex girlfriend and jokingly says they would have married, Charlie downplays the situation saying they had only 5 dates. Kirsten jokingly says "the one that got away", proving she is already suspicious. Then, in the dinner with Mike and Rebecca, everything seems fine and they remember all times, but later, while checking winery, Rebecca tells him that her marriage with Mike is going under. When he returns home, he finds Kirsten giving Owen a bath and telling story about the little mermaid, and tells her that she has nothing to worry about and that dinner was ok. He asks her how many guys she dated in highschool, she says some, a couple, so he says he would give a degree if one of them appears to visit her. She asks to meet his friends, but he says they are busy. The problem comes next when in the night he goes out with Rebecca and then in his truck he commits the first big mistake of his life, demonstrating that his womanizing side isn't gone yet. In the morning, Kirsten tells him that her mother went to visit him at the restaurant, but as he wasn't there, they went to her hotel to watch TV. He acts like nothing happened and asks to meet her mother, but she says she is in Muir Woods. She also says that she missed him and he answers the same. He doesn't want anything else with Rebecca and he still wants to be with Kirsten, so avoids her calls and Julia notices this when she attends one. Later, in the restaurant, Rebecca says she doesn't want to leave Mike for him, she just needed him. She also says that she noted that he cares about the woman he is seeing (Kirsten), and then they say goodbye. For obvious reasons, these two stories were not enjoyable, still I praise that the favourite nanny spent time with her mother and with Owen, showing how great she is. As usual, she takes care of Owen as if he was her own son, and I bet one day she will do the same with her children, when she has one. Also, she is not naïve, she noticed Charlie's absence but for now she has no evidence to realize what happened. If I try to see a positive thing of this episode is that is better that Charlie makes this horrible thing now and not after. If a person cheats on another one in a long relationship, or a marriage with children, the consequences are far worst than this case. This is the only time Charlie did this to the love of his life. Of course I wish it never happened, but better now than after. It's impossible not to feel sorry for Kirsten.

And the sisters: Julia, tempted by Nina, faked her ID to pretend she is 21 to get a job at a night bar as a waitress. She did it partially for the money and also for being rebel, as she decided not to take the job at a burger place she was supposed to. In the club, she meets the bartender, Loren, who notes that she is under age but with the fake ID, he accepts her anyway. Claudia, entered a violin competiton but she lied about her age in the aplication (she said she was 9 and she is 11). Julia refused to pay for it so she went to Ross, who didn't notice the age stuff. When they return after playing, Julia tells Ross that Claudia lied about the age and blasts her for it. Claudia answers saying that she doesn't care about her or her music, calling her a "b...". Julia feels hurt, because she cares, and later goes to the competition with her and Ross, turns out that she didn't win. There, Claudia reveals that her motives were pure, she did it for her mother, who participated in that competition many years ago. Later, in the house, she tells Julia that she wonders if mom can watch her and that she wanted her to be proud, and Julia says their mother is proud just knowing she is playing the violin (emotional moment). This part was the best of the episode. Claudia did a wrong thing today but she meant well. Julia disaproved Charlie and Claudia's behavior, but well, she's not the one to talk. However, she was the only one who attended Claudia's competition (besides Ross). Overall, this could be remembered as the episode where the four siblings sinned. But well, they can't be perfect, they are humans, orphans, they can't be saints. Still, Claudia's mistake was the less important, point for her in the Best character award.

Warning: Spoilers
Bailey gets to know Kate's boyfriend but still wants to get her and makes her make a choice. Charlie meets two old friends who got married, their marriage is falling apart and he sleeps with Rebecca. Julia tries to get a job at a bar where she needs to be 21. Claudia wants to participate in a violin competition and Julia doesn't let her but Claudia still does.

Very good stories in this episode. Claudia's was the greatest one. I am surprised I like this young character so much. But she always manages to provoke the biggest emotions. Just like here when she wants to compete in a competition her mother won. We see that this is what makes her practice and wanting to win so much.

Charlie's story is pretty good too. I wonder will Kirsten find this out now, because she was cheated on. Somehow I am sad Kate chose Bailey because I don't like her all that much, not sure what Bailey sees in her.
