If you're watching on Amazon

Warning: Spoilers
Having watched Spin City when it was first broadcast and binge-watching it thanks to Amazon Prime, a serious "heads-up" to warn bingers that the end of season 4 & most all of season 5 are not listed/aired out of sequence; example - "burgers of wrath" is listed as the 2nd episode on Amazon, but it's the 9th episode on imdb.

To watch the series in chronological order follow the imdb episode titles, not how they're listed/run on Amazon Prime.

After the departure of Michael J. Fox, the series is carried to its end by the remaining original cast most notably, Richard Kind & Alan Ruck who steal every scene and gift with much laughter.

Sheen does a great job in his first at-bat.

As we start season five absent Michael J Fox, we are introduced to the new Deputy Mayor, Charlie Crawford played by Charlie Sheen. It begins as Charlie is late for his first news conference as he in a room with a Swedish stewardess and his watch is still on Stockholm time. Now everyone at City Hall has a feeling that Charlie may not be the right person for the job.

With toll booth workers on a verge of a strike, the Mayor and Catlin seems to have reached an agreement with the negotiator, Joan Calvin. But when Joan finds out that Charlie has been hired as deputy mayor, she calls off the negotiations. It seems that Joan and Charlie has a past relationship that did not go well. The city is looking at a strike that will grid-lock the entire town. Charlie must meet with Joan and patch things up.

I know a lot of series fans will never like Sheen replacing Fox but this was actually a rather funny show. The one-liners were excellent and situations amusing. There really is nothing to dislike about this episode. Even without Michael J Fox, this series still makes for a humorous watch. Good show.

What happened?

Warning: Spoilers
What happened to Fox after the Goodbye episode? I mean, at the end of that episode it looked as though he would be making frequent appearances, but in this episode his name is only mentioned in a sarcastic and humorous tone, and refers to him only to put down Sheen. What happened? I've only seen it in reruns, so maybe something happened in the summer of 2000 that changed Fox's mind or maybe he never had in mind coming back? (I'm not sure if this contains spoilers, but it may if you haven't seen the Goodbye episode or this one). The love interest between Fox and Locklear is also conspicuously missing, as if the past 5 years between the beginning of the show and the Sheen era was just filler. Anyone have any insight on this mystery?
