Lovely episode with a cool dog.

This is one of those episodes that kind of bored me when I was a kid but as I understood a little more about the "oil" plot I enjoyed it a little more plus we get a hot tamale guest starring.

"Spoilers" A young woman named Ally farmer wakes up and looks for her father who is on the road and she calls him to say she is making breakfast but before he can make it home, two guys with bandanas covering their face driving a truck force the dad off the road, setting his car on fire and make it look like a drunk driving incident being that the father had a history of alcohol abuse. Ally stands up for her father and tells Walker and Trivette that her father hasn't drank in 4 years and that he was murdered. Even Walker doesn't really believe her until he sees the skid marks on the road. Walker and the team are dealing with these corrupt oil rig workers whoa re trying to pollute the roads and the water with their poison. Meanwhile, Trivette has been looking over this dog whom he and Walker had rescued from drowning earlier but the oil is starting to affect the dog so Walker and Trivette do everything they can and they all go after the oil workers and take them down while Walker takes down the leader Nash. The dog is fine, Ally has avenged her father's death and is now a vet. Walker and Trivette locate the man who threw the dog in the water early on in the episode and it ends when walker tells the dog that the man has a steak in his pocket.

Great episode, M.C Gainey was awesome as one of the bad guys who makes racist remarks to Trivette only to get his ass kicked later by him. Uncle Ray touches your heart a little bit in a scene where he was talking about his first wife.

Chuck Norris kicks toxic waste
coltras3531 March 2024
Dr. Victor Slade (Ken Kercheval), a veterinarian investigating the strange deaths of local animals is killed in what appears to be a drunk driving incident, and his daughter Ally (Cali Timmins) teams up with Walker and Trivette to prove otherwise. The three discover that an environmental waste company has been mixing toxic chemicals with waste oil and spraying them on roads in order to make a larger profit, and had Dr. Slade killed when he got too close to their scheme. Meanwhile, Trivette finds himself taking care of a dog named "Old Blue" after he and Walker save it from drowning after the hound was thrown into a lake.

A bit of a boring episode in terms of thrills but it's well meaning about the subject of toxic wastes and animal mistreatment.
