Funniest thing I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DHanna-62 February 2009
I read that other guys review and had to register. That show was the funniest thing I ever saw. I laughed none stop. I was so happy I had it on DVR because I was laughing so much I had to rewind it so I didn't miss anything. She is one of the greats...a female, Don Rickles. I showed it six of my friends on game night and they were rolling. It's racist and stereotypical humor but it pokes fun of people who really think that way...that's the joke. I've seen every one of her specials and twice live. Her jokes are never the same. My husband, and my friends, love her. I've been searching the guide for when it plays again because a few friends didn't see it the last time.

We are all dumber for having seen this

Warning: Spoilers
I appreciate Lisa Lampinelli's crude, over-the-top humor, which made me laugh hysterically when I saw her do some celebrity roast. There's an art to delivering outrageous material, and I presumed Lampinelli was a pro. When I saw this on Netflix, I had to give it a try.

What a difference a venue makes... this is just simpleton mouthiness. It's pretty shocking how stupid this low-quality material is. It feels like she made this stuff up in the ten minutes before she went on, but somehow still feels canned. I made it through maybe fifteen minutes of very insipid racist jokes, and realized it wasn't going to get any better. And I leave ANYTHNG on. I can't believe this stuff is only two years old. In terms of comedy history it felt like I was looking back in time to 1975, or watching Andrew Dice Clay.

This is the weakest 'comedy' I've watched in 20 years. I can't believe anyone forked over the production/distribution costs for this.

The worst comedy show I've ever seen!
TOMNEL9 September 2008
I am not a fan of Lisa Lampenelli, nor had I ever heard of her until this program came on late night on Comedy Central. She has to be the worst comedienne of all time! Her racist comments are stereotypical and clichéd, and her over the top performance is not funny in the least. It's insincere and she is always acting like she's trying too hard. The people in the audience at this show must've been on drugs, or something, because this is the worst comedy show ever!

Ready for some laughs? Lisa Lampenelli gives a 40 minute long comedy performance of what many call edgy comedy, but what I refer to as stupid. About 65% of her jokes are racial jokes, including talking about the lower extremities of African American men, talking about how cheap Jewish people, are and how prone to violence Mexicans are. How original! I've never heard these bad stereotypes before. 25% of her jokes are gay jokes, where she points out gay guys in the audience, and talks about how Andy Dick may be gay, but he's not a child molester, which leads to the most amusing joke in the show. The rest of her jokes mostly consist of her talking about guys she's dated and guys who want to have sex with her, which doesn't make sense due to her looks or personality.

This show did not produce one laugh for me. Lisa maybe should go into a profession where we don't have to listen to or see her, maybe she could be a mentor to the deaf and blind, but I'm sure she would find a way to drive them crazy.

Overall, this was awful! It would be better classified under drama than comedy.

My rating: BOMB out of ****. 40 mins.
