WCW unveils a new look this week, with brand new opening credits and a brand new set, with the commentators (reduced from three to two) now seated at ringside. There are segments of Ric Flair in his "office" conducting Presidential business interspersed throughout the show. We open the live show with Gene Okerlund in the ring interviewing Goldberg. The first match is Kendall Windham versus Hak in a Singapore Cane match. Konnan faces Lizmark, Jr. Gene Okerlund interviews Ric Flair. Scott Steiner takes on Meng in a United States Championship title tournament match. Lenny Lane takes on Hacksaw Jim Duggan (in his first match since returning from cancer). The NWO B-team has a battle royal to determine the leader of NWO Black & White. Kidman and Rey Mysterio defend the Tag Team Championship against Raven and Perry Saturn. Chris Jericho faces Booker T in a United States Championship title tournament match. Buff Bagwell takes on Bam Bam Bigelow. The main event is Ric Flair defending the World Championship against Hollywood Hogan and Diamond Dallas Page and Goldberg in a four corners match.
