At some point if money came back, it would be natural to resume your lives as they were. But these people were shallow, entitled, and directionless. Now that they have achieved financial security, they realize that they have grown in every way. Even David, who has longed to get back to his friends (who were never really his friends) sees a different path. Alexis is the one to go to New York, but she is going there with talent and confidence. Stevie plans to stay in Schitt's Creek and we find out a lot about Twyla. Wonderful effort.

Johnny makes orange mimosas for breakfast. Moira is on the phone with an acquaintance to tell her that the Roses are moving to New York. Johnny says she cannot possibly still be friends with that woman after all this and Moira says she only called because that woman is a gossiper - it will spread the news.
The kids come in and Johnny says how proud he is of Alexis's career in PR and David's in starting up his own store. Moira will have broadway waiting for her or a PBS gig.
Johnny tells them to look around because this will not be their home anymore.
At the cafe Alexis offers Twyla bags of her old dresses. Twyla leans in and tells Alexis that she does not work at the cafe for money. She actually won 96 million dollars with another man.
Twyla says based on what her mom bought after having received money as a gift, money does not buy you happiness. The things you do everyday do. She has everything she needs here at the cafe.
David and Stevie sit on the hood of their car staring at the cute little cottage home that Patrick was interested got them. David said it looked like Kate Winslet's cottage in A Holiday so Patrick went in to tell the owners to contact him whenever they planned on selling. David cries and wonders what life would have been like in this house.
Moira gets a package - it is a tennis bracelet. I need to look up what that is. It has 30 diamonds on it. She talks on the phone with her former agent and confirms she is going to take on her old role on Sunrise Bay's reboot.
Moira goes to see the Jazzagals and Ronnie breaks out of her tough image and cries.
The Rose parents will go to Cali, David confirms he is starting to live in that cottage and Alexis will go alone to NY.
