Another very strong episode.

Eliza receives her first official employment from Scotland Yard, when The Duke asks her to infiltrate a group he fears is likely to stir up trouble, the group, The Suffragette movement, Eliza instantly hits it off with its chairman Margaret Fairfax, and soon has to go to her aid.

The third episode from this first series, and it is yet another high quality, enthralling episode. Fast moving, engaging, suspenseful and visually sumptuous, of course certain elements are unfathomable, A Gentleman's club is not somewhere that someone in Eliza's place would have contemplated going.

Margaret Fairfax is a first rate character, thoroughly believable. Once again, I find myself absolutely captivated when Moses appears.

It is hard to look back and think of a time when women didn't have the vote, we're still in a time where rights are still very unequal for both sexes, but at this time, the gap was even greater.

We are still in the early years, and the relationship between Eliza and The Duke is still bedding in as it were, they are still sparring with one another in delightful fashion.

8/10.
