Pete Davidson is Pete... Nolan?

Nolan's relationship with his "new" brother was the highlight of this episode. Like the previous episode, this one wasn't particularly memorable but it wasn't bad either. Also, when did Nolan make so much progress on his house??

Best part of the episode?

• So... Pete Davidson is Nolan's brother...? That was the most random thing but it was also the greatest lol. Every single scene he was in was amazing. Them sharing their dad's ashes was hilarous.

• Chastity was great. I loveddd her character and I especially like that she and Pete got along so we saw her more than we would've if she just helped with the case and left.

• Bradford essentially gave up a promotion for Chen? That was sweet.

• Wesley's mother got arrested. That was hilarious. It was also nice to see him stand up to her about being a "real" lawyer.

Worst part of the episode?

• None of the cases they followed up on were particularly interesting. The one with the turd statue was the best one but it was more amusing than interesting.

One of the Weakest Episodes

Sgt. Grey assigns the department to review old cases and try to find new tracks. Meanwhile Nolan learns that his estranged father has died and he inherited fourteen dollars and an old but classic car. He stumbles upon his half-brother Pete, who was raised by his father, and he tries to approach to Pete. Meanwhile, Melanie, who is Wesley's mother, is arrested with a weapon that was used in a robbery. Tim is approved in the sergeant test and may have a chance in another police department.

"Follow-Up Day" is one of the weakest episodes to "The Rookie", with silly storylines. After dating the gorgeous Chen and Jessica, the clumsy Nolan now is dating the astonishing beautiful Grace. Lucky guy! My vote is seven.

In most TV shows, the writers either get bored or run out of stories, especially police procedural shows, but the writers just keep on impressing with The Rookie! I can't remember an episode I laughed so hard in, and thanks mainly to the guest celebrity appearance of Pete Davidson! I hope to see more of him. I also liked how many conflicts happened in this episode, as well as the many positive dynamics with current and new actors. I hope they continue to introduce guest celebrities and keep the writing as dynamic and entertaining as this episode. Zero to critique on this episode, so a perfect 10/10 from me! Mad props and respect to the writers, please keep it coming! 🙌
