Danielle's acting is top notch

I was blown away by this very moving episode and the gorgeous acting and directing. Oh and the sound effects of this show cannot be over applauded. This show feels very realistic with fabulous references from Shakespeare to Independence Day!

Deep

This episode was obviously better than the first two. With a two very interesting characters with more than a great backstory.

We, the people who lived through this last 2 and a half year of covid19 felt related to this show but more specifically to this episode, with the close ups and the regrets we had about not doing what we liked tho most, spending out precious time with the one we loved and putting work ahead of family was one of our biggest mistakes that covid actually made us realize.

Danielle is amazing. Miranda is dreadful
kadenkgcampbell23 June 2022
Miranda has to be one of the coldest, emotionless, closed off, boring character I've ever seen. She's dreadfully mean and monotone. I don't get her relationship with Arthur. They were never meant to be. How does that even come to be? Opposites attract I get that but those two are water and oil.

One of the best episodes on TV - Danielle is Great

I almost stopped looking at this series after episode two. But I wouldn't have missed this gem of a television episode. Danielle Deadwyler is awesome. The writing and direction and cinematography is superb. The story is wonderful. I was swept away. If more series and movies could be like this episode. Wonderful.

Might be the best episode
sirendendeago22 December 2021
E03: Hurricane This is the best episode so far. Miranda is my favorite character from the book and it's great how they portrayed her character on screen, and the are scene I did not find in the book but it's great on-screen.

Yes, the book has a lot of character and the time jump from after and before, but don't worry it all becomes a wholesome story in the end, at least in the book, So we'll see where the story goes in this series...

Thank God this was nothing like Episode 2
kyttness17 December 2021
I almost decided to turn this show off after such a let down episode with the 2nd one. This one almost makes up for episode 2 but not completely. I really loved Miranda's character. This was well acted, especially in the ending scenes - Miranda delivers a powerful "pitch" to her Malaysian logistics partners. If the series makers put out a crap fourth episode though I'm trashing this series into the bin.

a good relation
Kirpianuscus8 May 2022
In my case , provocative was to imagine ( accept ) Gael Garcia Bernal as Arthur. But, most important, remains the impeccable job of Danielle Deadwyller as Miranda. The scene of party, the wise use of the last meeting between Miranda and Arthur and, not the last, the fair use of Shakespeare are precious ingredients for define a beautiful story, high dramatic, decisions and definitions of truth.. The basic virtue of the first three episodes - wise management of the relation with the book, proposing, in fair manner , innovation, giving profound meanings and rich nuances to familiar details and episodes from life of characters.

Bad acting in general
Axel0ma25 January 2022
Danielle Deadwyler is pretty bad at what she is doing. I don't understand why is she there, why do we have to listen to her stories that are obviously fake because she can't act. There is no chemistry between she and the guy she is with. Because of her the whole episode looks like a B movie. I don't understand the high reviews. The first episode was very good but since then we are watching a completely different movie.

Soooo..what's the purpose of that? No connection between the first episode and the next 2... WTF IS that?!? Watch the first one, people, then go watch something else. This is pure bs.

Finally figured out what went wrong until this episode
alanok52826 July 2022
At the beginning I was like such a great idea of a show. For the first two episodes I didn't hate it but felt something wrong which didn't make the show as interesting as I would expect. Until this episode, I finally get, it's not about Shakespeare, not about civilisation or humanity. The whole tone is nothing but an unhappy feminist's prejudice about the whole world.
