- As a wife is getting ready for bed, her husband comes up behind her and they start kissing. They lie on the bed and start having sex. The scene lasts less than a minute.
- A young woman goes to a barn, where a young man meets her and they start to have sex. Her breasts are shown in close-up.
- A woman goes to a soldier's apartment and starts undressing, and the scene briefly shows them starting to have sex. Later, another scene starts with her dressing (just avoids nudity) after another of their sexual encounters.
- A man tells the priest that he is going to marry someone because of his "cojones" (balls). The priest is appalled.

- The scene where the young man is pushed off the cliff is intense. He is captured from where he was sleeping with the (half-naked) young woman, and he screams as he falls to his death. The young woman, clothed again, yells and cries as the soldiers cut her hair because of what they have done to her lover.
