Fun episode
wolfordcheyenne25 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This was a solid and entertaining episode. I enjoyed the alternate universe Sam and Dean and the return of Ruby. The only thing I had a problem with was the inclusion of Sister Jo. Was it really necessary to have her return? Ruby's accomplice in hiding the Occultum could've been anyone.

Sister Jo or whatever is totally pointless
nigaraliyeva-1356712 January 2021
-2 points for the whole existence of Sister Jo. She is a pointless character, if Jensen wanted his wife on the show so badly she should have died after a couple of episodes.

Destiny's Child.
Adam-0926524 March 2020
It's rare for me to rate a 10/10 on an inconclusive episode, i usually keep them for big endings or 'game changer' episodes only. This was an exeption for it's rollercoaster of emotions, atmospheric tones and plot.

The last time we had an episode like this was more than half a season ago. It's got a lot of what you want in a Supernatural episode such as; Adventure, Sentimental Conversations, Dark/Emotional Music Tones, Art Direction, Comedy (decently placed), and the best of all Plot Escalation. Finally we get a big move in the story towards the end of what i hope to still call a great series.

I give a big thumbs up to the acting and cinematography in this one, this weeks was a big win for me. Loads of decent plot moments and certain character development at times (Jack mainly).

Perfect Combination
Kiiiraaa26 March 2020
This episode was a perfect combination of lots of different things. There was comedy, big emotions, old characters returning, plot twists and, most importantly, Team Free Will ist reunited again.

It is ridiculous of people to claim that good ratings are randomly given out by horny females. This episode was genuinely great. What sealed the deal for me were the last few minutes of the episode. Castiel is my favorite character and he seems so much happier and content with Jack around. I hope that this is the start of some action-packed, gut-wrenching final episodes.

Winchester51923 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Big WOW!!! I never expected a Buckleming episode to be this good, the acting , directing, writing is just PERFECT! I just wish they used Rachel Miner to play Meg again ,not the empty that would have been amazing. I am really enjoying this last season. 10/10 I wish i could rate more

Destiny's Child

Warning: Spoilers
I don't have it in me to be critical right now, so...

I'm so happy Jack got his soul back. He has been my only reason to watch for like two seasons. I also loved seeing Rachel again. Danneel looked really pretty in flashbacks. I liked this episode.

Almost perfect, One of the best episodes in a long time.
kaliberkairee7 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Everything was going so well and everything was perfect. but there was (kinda) a plot-hole . There was no way Ruby and Anael have met, because Ruby died before the fall , and yet the flashbacks say otherwise. I am not saying that it's not impossible because, because Anael was always a liar and she said that she rebelled against heaven so maybe she was on earth before the fall. Anael stated that she rebelled against Heaven's ideas a long time ago, So it's possible that they could have met. The writers made a huge mistake and yet they got lucky and got away with it. I don't consider it an actual * plot hole * but the writers need to do better , they got lucky the first time maybe they won't be lucky next time. Other than that, I loved the episode. 9.5/10

Continuity is lacking
daniel-n-c18024 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Enjoyable as always, but the episode felt slow and like a filler, for the most part, considering they're are only 7 episodes left. Continuity is also lacking, but that has been a theme for a while now. Example: Anael fell from heaven a bunch of seasons after Ruby was killed yet here they're shown working together. God's awareness is apparently being dialed down big time. I can easily accept him not being even close to omniscient, but this is ignorance. Jack waltzes in and out of the garden of Eden with God apparently none the wiser. I have a better idea of what's going on on my property with a few security cameras and sensors, and I'm supposed to believe God is clueless about things happening on, essentially, his own turf? Not to mention he, alleged creator of all things and among the oldest beings in the history of existence appears to get so easily outsmarted like a low-rent, run-of-the-mill two-dimensional villain.

Passable, hoped for more
Kingslaay8 May 2020
A passable and filler episode. Not sure where these high ratings are coming from. We saw the usual trips the cast had to make to supposed dangerous places such as The Empty and Hell. It's becoming redundant with them saying its dangerous and yet they keep making numerous trips without a scratch. The redeeming part of the episode was having a hilarious alternate Samuel and Dean. Given this is the last season we need the writers to not pull any punches. Now is the time to take the risks and turn things on a head so we have a gut wrenching finale.

They brought back the wrong Ruby...
sophiemasong23 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Gen as Ruby is just awful. This whole episode... Just an excuse to get the wives in a scene together, it sucked. Poor writing poor acting... Except for Rachel as The Empty, she's fabulous.

Partial review - Lisa Berry and other.
jeremiah-517604 September 2021
The seen where Billie informs the Winchesters of the Occultum, I was particularly impressed with how Lisa Berry's tone, and in particular her voice, brought gravitas to the message being conveyed. She really was amazingly strong in this scene. Upon reflection, I realize she has always been great as Billie, but this scene really opened my eyes to see it.

Also, the opening scene has got to be one of the best in the series. It fully displays how those involved in the show know how have fun. Jared, Jensen, and everyone involved really do know how to keep Sam and Dean from being too serious.

Empty except for one hilarious bit
shwetafabm17 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The alternate Sam and Dean bit is hilarious. Other than that the plot makes no sense, they are ignoring there own reality, the empty is well empty, you go to sleep, nothing indicated the beings asleep feel anything, infact that was what was special about it, nothingness. Knowing the motivations of the empty were good. But the plot... Oh boy, this is the fault of the viewers really, we can't let go of the show and the writers think we'll eat anything up even if it makes no sense and they don't even research their own lore, purgatory episode of this season is a good example, leviathans were not Eve's children...whatever... In this episode we are supposed to believe that Anael is stupid enough to name Ruby when she doesn't have to, that her and Ruby met before the fall, that she would give this to Ruby and that Ruby would tell Castiel... Nope. The garden part is somewhat fine but again the problem is that God is God, how can he not know Jack went into the garden, can he only focus on one thing at once? I can buy Jack's soul got completed, maybe he did have a tiny bit of soul left, but soul's are complicated right, they should be...

This show is not the same as it once was.
Cinebad17 August 2020
Ever since the show was brought back after the perfect series finale, Swan Song, this show has gone more and more downhill. Season 6 had its moments. Good episodes. But after that, not many redeeming qualities with this show. I did love season 11's Don't call me shurley. But other than that, this show is a broken record. The quality of the show has been absorbed by the horrible tv network, CW. Production wise, writing wise, acting wise, directing wise. It's kinda their thing to ruin shows. I just want this to end. Hopefully it can be satisfying but i honestly doubt it.

Boring
rokondrum30 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
They are fillling last couple of shows with old characters beacuse they don't kbow what else to do. God is omnipotent being and it's crazy to assume you can hide something from him. Besides that, I hate Jack. I hate him as character and as actor. It was ok for some time being, but now it's ridiculous. He is half angel but however stronger then real archangel?! And with couple of artefacts he'll be stronger then God himself?! The same God who made those artefacts? And his sister in the same time? This is my favorite show, but....
