I'm a husk of the man I once was. This is a deeply upsetting episode. One moment that has stuck with me since I first heard about this episode was, after Orel shoots clays liquor and clay starts yelling at him and saying that Orel won't stop whining about his drinking and Orel tearfully responds with "it's because you become a bad person when you drink." I find this moment to be incredibly heartbreaking knowing that for most fathers this would probably be a wake up call and something that would make them want to stop drinking but for clay all it is but another excuse to beat his son its a incredibly sad moment from a heartbreaking episode.
