Get ready to see the couples together again in the upcoming episode of Married at First Sight – although now, half of them aren’t even together.
Nonetheless, the cast will gather for their couple’s retreat in Foxfield, Colorado, and the location is stunning.
Images of the mansion, once owned by a former NFL player, were posted online, and even a few of the former Mafs cast were impressed and admittedly “jealous.”
It’s hard to envision a successful couples retreat this season, although it’s been a staple feature on the show for quite some time.
At this point, two couples have already called it quits, and it’s not looking promising for Becca and Austin or Emily and Brennan.
They might bring back Orion and Lauren, much like they did for Michael and Chloe’s wedding. However, viewers were furious when he recently reappeared on the show after...

Zorro and Expats are the big shows coming to Prime Video in January. The former is what Amazon are calling a “bold reinterpretation” of the classic hero El Zorro for 2024. Starring Miguel Bernardeau as Diego de la Vega and Renata Notni as Lolita Marquez, it’s definitely an intriguing-sounding action-adventure series, with a ten-episode first season based on the iconic character originally created by Johnston McCulley all the way back in 1919.
Meanwhile, upcoming drama series Expats is based on the bestselling 2016 novel The Expatriates by Janice Y. K. Lee, and follows “the vibrant lives of a close-knit expatriate community” in Hong Kong. Nicole Kidman has been known for picking the right kind of shows to lead in the past, so let’s hope this is another banger for the actress, who is also on board as an executive producer here.

A New Year means lots of removals from Netflix and January 1st is looking busy, with over 100 movies set to leave the service already. Below, we’ll be keeping track of all the Netflix departures for the first month of 2024.
First, a few housekeeping notes as to how Netflix removals work before we dive in. Due to licensing agreements, shows and movies added to Netflix aren’t added forever. Instead, they’re essentially rented for a fixed period. All the shows below have their current window on Netflix ending and will likely be bound for a rival streaming service.
We list titles slightly differently from other outlets, with our listings being the actual day of removal. If you want to watch any titles scheduled to expire on January 1st, for example, you’ll need to watch by the end of December 31st.

An unwanted follow-up to 2021’s mediocre caper manages to be even worse, wasting a talented cast and replacing humour with grating chaos
Tossed into the stream during the second summer of Covid, Vacation Friends was a throwback to the kind of big, bright studio comedy that doesn’t get made as much any more. It wasn’t anywhere near as entertaining as it should or could have been (think more Couples Retreat than Forgetting Sarah Marshall) but it was a hit for Hulu, scoring a record-breaking opening weekend, and showing that while audiences still might be reticent to rush out to one of these movies on the big screen (the summer has proved to be another rough one for theatrically released comedies), a low-stakes home-watch is an easier yes.
While Vacation Friends 2 might then make commercial sense, it’s not something that carries any creative reasoning to it, comedy...

Exclusive: Paramount is moving around a number of its unscripted shows.
VH1 series including Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, Couples Retreat and Caught In The Act: Unfaithful are moving to MTV.
The company said it was looking to find new audiences for these shows, which are all being produced by Lashan Browning’s Antoinette Media, which Paramount recently invested in. The move comes as it is exploring a sale of BET Media Group, which now includes VH1, meaning that it will keep a number of its biggest titles on its other network.
The biggest move involves Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, which is going in to its 11th season. It premiered on VH1 in 2012.
Season 11, which will air this summer, is being rebooted and will follow a more “docu approach to storytelling” as it documents the lives of women who have built their empires in Atlanta.

When it comes to the postcard-perfect destination of French Polynesia — just an eight-hour flight from Los Angeles — Sienna India, CEO of ultra-luxury travel concierge Sienna Charles, recommends going “to the smaller islands, like Taha’a, where [Tahitian] vanilla is from.”
Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have done just that, staying at Le Taha’a Island Resort & Spa (from $895 a night). Guests of the overwater suites and beach villas can swim with sharks, take helicopter or yacht trips, and drift snorkel through a spectacularly crystalline coral garden channel with rainbows of tropical fish. The resort has recently implemented a sustainability agenda that dramatically reduces plastic waste plus completed renovations of its two $2,886-per-night Royal Pool Beach Villas, with plunge pools and not one but two outdoor bathtubs and showers.

Though it’s not quite as vast or expensive as fellow Prime Video series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Citadel (premiering April 28) is a massive, massive undertaking. Starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, this spy series is described as “an expansive and groundbreaking global event comprising a mothership series and several local language satellite series.” This means that the Russo Brothers-produced project will eventually feature several spinoffs in multiple countries and languages around the world. Neat-o!

Two all new celebrities in disguise took on returning champ Squirrel for “Sesame Street Night” on Wednesday’s “The Masked Singer.” After a performance of “Just the Two of Us” by Grover Washington Jr. and Bill Withers, Squirrel was dethroned in third place behind Fairy and Jackalope. The nutty performer pulled off her mask to reveal herself as model and actress Malin Akerman. Panelist Jenny McCarthy correctly guessed the iconic DJ, but Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger were off the mark.
“I totally forgot about ‘Couples Retreat,'” Ken said of the film he starred in with Malin. “I cannot believe it!” During her unmasked interview with host Nick Cannon, Malin said, “I was just so excited to get to do this and watch it with my son, who’s actually here in the audience tonight. And my dad is here from Sweden! The Swedish meatball! It’s so fun.

If January sets the tone for any streamer’s year then 2023 is certainly going to be the Year of True Crime on Hulu. That’s right, Hulu’s list of new releases for January 2023 is highlight by several new true crime docuseries (and one charmingly goofy animated hero).
The true crime docuseries fest gets started with Death in the Dorms on Jan. 5. That will be followed by How I Caught My Killer on Jan. 12, and Web of Death on Jan. 19. The first is a six-episode series that will follow the real life case of murders at UCLA, while the latter two will both present several different stories.
It’s not just all true crime in January for Hulu. Jan. 9 sees the arrival of Koala Man, an animated series that envisions an Australian crime fighter of the same name. Also premiering is season 2 of How I Met Your Mather (Jan. 24) and superhero drama Extraordinary (Jan.

The general rule is that critics do not have to love a movie for the rest of the world to love it. Couples Retreat, the 2009 romantic comedy, is proof of that one. No one thought it would be an Oscar-worthy movie when we saw the list of stars. These are funny comedians and non-dramatic actresses and actors whose goal in life is to make us laugh. When Vince Vaughn and Malin Ackerman’s on-screen romance needs a little nudge, their friends convince them to head to Eden. It’s a couple’s retreat designed to save all of their marriages – whether

Bob Clark’s 1983 holiday classic, A Christmas Story, is one of the most beloved family films of all time. While not a blockbuster upon its initial release, the film immediately became a cult classic thanks to cable, and close to forty years later, it is so well-regarded that it still airs 24 hours a day on Christmas Eve on TBS. But what happened to the cast of A Christmas Story? Recently, fans had the chance to see many of them in the sequel, A Christmas Story Christmas, with some exceptions.
In this episode of Wtf Happened to this Celebrity, we take a look at what happened to the film’s talented cast. Notably, star Peter Billingsley, who was one of the most immediately recognizable kid actors of the eighties, and went on to significant success as a director and producer, being an executive producer on Iron Man and having directed Couples Retreat and more.

Though the confusingly named initiative “FX on Hulu” is on its way out, FX is still bringing premium television to Hulu in the meantime.
Hulu’s list of new releases for April 2022 is highlighted by FX limited series Under the Banner of Heaven. This adaptation of the non-fiction book by John Krakauer stars Andrew Garfield as a Mormon police detective whose faith is shaken when investigating a murder involving the church.
It’s not all just FX on the TV side of things for Hulu this month, however. The streamer is debuting second seasons of its series The Hardy Boys (April 6) and Woke (April 8). There isn’t much to report from Hulu’s original movies arm aside from true crime documentary Captive Audience on April 21. But that doc about one family’s 50-year journey for justice sounds like a must-watch.

Legendary and Warner Bros Pictures have closed deals for four original cast members of “A Christmas Story” — Ian Petrella (Randy), Zack Ward (Scut Farkus), Scott Schwartz (Flick), and R.D. The film’s original child star Peter Billingsley is set to reprise his role as Ralphie in the film.
The new film, intended for HBO Max, is titled “A Christmas Story Christmas” and will take place in the 1970s, 30 years removed from the original film, which was set in the 1940s. According to the complaint he filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, after it became known that the international film poster for Couples Retreat had excised the Black actors, Universal attempted to assuage him by getting rid of the racist poster and providing him with lucrative, career-making film roles. “Universal Studios lied,” stated the complaint, which also accused the studio of lacking ...

After enduring any number of paid celebrity vacations disguised as feature films, it’s edifying to learn that a cast and crew can have a great journey and make a worthwhile film at the same time, as Steven Soderbergh and an impressive ensemble have done with “Let Them All Talk,” filmed almost entirely during a real transatlantic, New York-to-Southampton crossing on the Queen Mary 2.
You won’t begrudge Meryl Streep, Candice Bergen, Dianne Wiest, Gemma Chan and Lucas Hedges getting an ocean voyage out of the deal, since this comedy-drama about a blocked novelist having an awkward reunion with old friends is such a witty exploration of relationships and of the responsibility artists have to their muses. It’s “Wild Strawberries” for women of a certain age, and a big improvement over Soderbergh and Streep’s previous collaboration, the disjointed “The Laundromat.”

Faizon Love files race discrimination suit against Universal alleging he was cut from poster for 2009 comedy because he was black
Cuban-American actor Faizon Love has launched legal action against Hollywood studio Universal, saying he was cut out of the poster for the 2009 comedy Couples Retreat because he was black.
In a filing in a Los Angeles court reported by Deadline, Love said that he and his fellow actor Kali Hawk – the only principal black actors in the film – were removed from the international editions of the poster. Love said that while Universal had “no problem featuring Black actors” in the film, “when it came to publicizing the film to international audiences, Universal Studios chose to segregate the motion picture’s White and Black actors”. The filing also stated: “Mr Love and his Black costar, Kali Hawk, were expunged completely from the film’s principal international advertisement, while the other ‘couples...
