The only reason I'm not giving this episode a 10 is because of the stadium scenes. All the scenes with the uncover work and building Desi cover I.D. was a solid 10 but the stadium scenes brought the episode down and as a big football fan seeing Desi just run on to the field withing the referee stopping the game as brought the episode down.
On a more positive note, Desi looked stunning in the blue dress in the gambling scene. I really thought Mac and Riley would have a shot at a relationship but thanks to the Merchant putting Desi's life at risk. MacGyver seems he's not completely over Desi. Lastly, if the Titan turned out to be Matty it would be a disappointment because it would the second time the team got betrayed their boss. The first being Patricia Thornton.

I watch Mac mainly because I was a fan of the old serious. Sometimes I just cringe at how the writers think. This is an episode about football, European football, has 2 British actors in it and still they get it all wrong!!! How is that possible? Nearly stopped watching but I managed to finish it under the presumption it's made mainly for the US market, and who in the US cares.

Okay - again, I like the series. But there are a lot of continuity and plot issues within the show itself.
One thing that has bothered me since the pilot is that almost every scene has Riley wearing some low cut shirt that reveals half her boobs. Aren't we past that?
She is a cute girl. No arguments. But if you want us to take her seriously as an agent, put her in real clothes. Same as most of the women in this series (and others). They can be feminine without having to show their assets. It's frankly offensive to those of us who are intelligent (and attractive) women. Let her character be smart first.
And while we're at it, enough with the women fighting men in hand to hand. They aren't going to beat several huge men. I know guys think that's sexy and all but be realistic. Plus, again, when did Riley learn all those skills that she's been showing in episodes.
