This is the only episode of JUST THE TEN OF US that I could find on the Net, besides one other unidentifiable snippet, hence it is the only episode I can review. And place quotes of.
Quite ironic that back in the day, I loathed this series, you know why? I laugh at the little fact today, but to me the very symbol of it was their ol' Dad jumping about like a big ol' frog in his pajamas. I watched to see Brooke Theiss just like guys watched BAYWATCH to see Pamela Anderson. But fumed at that silly sight. Coach Lubbock, lots of water has flowed into the sea since then, and today, I would pay through my nose just to have JUST THE TEN OF US on a DVD. Even if only the first two seasons. But it ain't gonna happen NEVER.
The series has become a Collector's Item for me, as I collect everything concerning pretty actresses. While Brooke was my main objective back then, Jamie Luner became Peyton Richards in SAVANNAH, and The Raven is nuts about that show. So, today, I eat every bad word I ever said about this little show. And, yes, it is a "little" show, it's just barely remembered, and it seems only on Wikipedia and IMDb and the downloadable bits I found on VuClip.
As for this episode: Mostly Brooke Theiss (Wendy), though there's a lot of the others, unfortunately not as much of Jamie Luner (Cindy) as I would have liked. But I'm just thankful to have it on my cellphone.
Wendy's been out with a boy, and a note is passed in school by a boy who brags about scoring with "the hottest Lubbock babe" and so the hunt begins as Coach interrogates them. Turns out Constance had a "fling" too, only hers was more serious, after all, Wendy's just ditzy, exploring for the fun of it, but Constance had opened up her heart.
The hottest Lubbock babe? Don't ask me today. It's a toss-up.
