This is a precious, poignant movie which is beautifully acted and gently directed. The set is simple. The story captures a bittersweet moment in the life of a boy and his teddy bear. The puppeteer, Flyn Gilbert, captures the essence of the hopeful but outgrown toy. Johnny Maio as Michael is incredibly convincing. At one point it looks like he actually falls asleep and then is jolted awake by Charlie. A gifted young actor, with an irresistible screen presence. This is the first of many touching and insightful projects from talented director Danny Daneau.
