This is very good, not a huge Dom Littlewood fan but he does an excellent job, in all the challenges he faces.

Really Quite An Exceptional Show

Dom Does America
Who could not like Dom Littlewood, he is engaging likeable, brave and above all friendly. Note to BBC can Dom do a travel show instead of Simon Reeve as I've had a gutful of him sermonising his liberal agenda.
Without being overly effusive Dom's affability conceals a fine intellect, incredible natural interpersonal skills and levels of emotional intelligence rarely seen on the planet. It is a rare person indeed that could carry this show off and that person is Dom Littlewood.
I loved this series, but Dom has a few habits that irritate the viewer, if he could just take these out it would be perfect.
Dom is told something, he believes this nugget is significant and he then repeats it, ask a question on a statement don't repeat the statement verbatim.
Dom often describes what the viewer can see through the camera lens, we can see, so this is a tiresome habit, add information to what we can see, add add add.
Dom always looks for an emotional response to every human issue often identifying with the characters, this is not the approach for documentaries, we need neutrality for balance, murderers are usually not nice people and patients die in hospitals.
I think perhaps a different overlaid narration may have helped resolve most of these aspects.

Little Dom in big America

I caught this show on TV the other day and I have to say it's very entertaining! It's a bit like Louis Theroux does America but with Dom instead. Doms great, his reactions are authentic and you can tell he's really giving it his best shot. Quite funny, would watch again!
