Originally when the crossover began I was disappointed in the beginning with Station 19. I didn't think it was as exciting as I thought it would be. However, Grey's Anatomy more than made up for it. I loved how we got to see the residents as patients and them being treated by the doctors while getting to learn more about each of them. Helm finally and accidentally admitted she loved Meredith, Casey briefly suffered from PTSD and Blake... turns out he isn't a big of a jerk as he appears. Blake's past is revealed where it turns out both his parents are dead and he was raised by his loving grandmother whom he has a very close relationship with, so much so he didn't want to move to Seattle and leave her. Although I still hate how he outed Levi to the others about Meredith's insurance fraud, I'd say after the injuries he suffered in this episode he has payed his dues.
Aside from the residents I loved seeing all the doctors at work trying to save them and getting to see some new interactions like Cormac and Jo. I loved how they were both caring for the abandoned baby Jo brought in after briefly kidnapping him. Thankfully she didn't get into trouble and I continue to love watching her friendship with Link. They have become one of my favourite friendships on the show. However one of the saddest moments was with poor Bailey. Although Bailey had annoyed me this season by firing Meredith, Richard and Alex, she didn't deserve to lose her baby and it broke my heart to see her in so much pain. I'm glad she was comforted by Richard and Meredith in the end, showing their improved and restored relationships. The other moments I enjoyed in this episode was seeing Teddy and Owen get engaged. I knew it was going to happen. I just knew it. Plus Schmico are cuter than ever.
Overall this was a satisfying ending to the epic crossover between Station 19 and Grey's Anatomy.
