three hosts one king
SnoopyStyle29 December 2021
It's a three episode series about the young Egyptian Pharaoh and his fantastic tomb. He has a short ten years reign and he's dead before he turns twenty. He's a minor king in the long line of royalty until Howard Carter finds his nearly intact tomb. All too often, these tombs are raided and lost to history. It's his tomb that separates him from the rest. In a way, his burial has brought him fame to the end of time. He will live forever as the tombs are intended.

This series has three presenters; Dan Snow, Raksha Dave, and John Sergeant. This does lead to a bit of chaos in the presentation. Dan is the main presenter but the two come in and out and take over at times. It may be better to have just one presenter. The show does jump around in structure but the main drive seems to be looking at King Tut's life and death. The other main story is Howard Carter's discovery. I would prefer pulling all the Carter material into the first episode and King Tut's death to the last episode. Oddly, this is able to fill out the young king's life but it could done better.
