This being a documentary, doesn't have a straight story line, still the entire thing never lacks cohesiveness. No specific narration but thanks to amazing direction it's not needed, the pictures, the scenes, the background score makes one spellbound. The simple life and people (play actors & others) of Lucknow are so sweet and fresh I haven't seen anything like this in my life. The parallel storytelling if Samudra Manthan and the larger than life Kumbh Mela is so well intermingled, that it's seems effortless. The importance of river Ganga and the adoration of people for it is very well portrayed, and so is the typical day at Kumbh. It was a chance discovery for which I am so thankful. Simply amazing, must watch.

Movie is slow but that's the beauty to it, still has some very cool shots it's sad not many people know this gem exists.i loved Kamal's om dar ba dar and saw the trailer of this movie and I was so excited that this is gonna be something similar to that but this was something entirely different, whole om da daar had obscure imagery and trippy esque visuals here in samudra manthan it's all about the samudra manthan and also the people performing it, overall the movie sums itself up pretty neatly, the movie went over so many different concepts while still not losing it's true momentum to the story.
