This wild romp feels like cowboy bebop/Golgo 13 met a James Bond knockoff B movie in all the best ways! From over the performances to deeply stylized fight scenes, I couldn't get enough of this low budget mastwrpiece.
Get ready for fireworks explosions, recycled vacation footage, insane computer animated psychedelia, creative set pieces that appear to be someone's backyard, and some ingenious filmmaking that transcends location, time, and space.
WARNING: spoilers
My personal favorite was when the France footage suddenly became grainier and lost saturation, and after a minute I realized that this was old footage from a vacation that then cuts into one of the best kills of the movie, a man being thrown from the Eiffel Tower!
This is a masterpiece of nanobudget filmmaking that doesn't take no for an answer - or itself too seriously. After seeing how far he can stretch a dime, I can't wait to see what else this director comes up with!
