Surprisingly this show is very good. I say surprisingly because Kanan and Ghost were a little better than terrible. But this, Force, has the potential to be better than Power. As Power on itself was some kind of a soap opera most of the time.
I liked Tommy very much on Power, he is a good actor, given the opportunity he can excel for he has some great potential and this role fits him very well. I always loved the comparison with Eminem made on first episodes of Power.
I'm kinda reviewing the whole season on this episode because I believed that now it's time to confirm that this sequel is good.
We all wanted to see a sequel with Tommy when they first brought out a version for Ghost(Tariq) and the Kanan one. But we were afraid that they was gonna butcher it. They didn't.
While this is not a show to be on the list of best shows ever made, nor has it ever claimed to be, it has the potential to try and enter on that list.
Not Power though, Power still remains as a soap opera.
This has it's flaws indeed, like fast directorial cuts from one scene to another, in the previous episode was a scene where there was night and then it was daylight, after that it was again night and they were all talking about being in the same day, because most of the actors were at the same scenes. This is a directorial mistake. Anyway, I do hope that they focus more in this show and try to make it a piece of art, not just some high crime, low quality show just to sell production ads.
