I am not sure if this American version has all the same footage as the UK version I saw, but I can still give my opinion on it. This documentary was an exclusive and intimate portrait of Thomas Beatie, formerly Tracy, a transsexual who went through a sex change without having her womb removed, just using hormones and changing all legal documents. He (according to document) married Nancy when he was still a woman (try to catch up), and when Many found out she couldn't have children, Thomas who still a fully functioning womb and all the rest of it decided to get insemination and carry a baby HIMself. Along the pregnancy Nancy took some snap shots, and of course one of them got into the hands of the media, and the news of a pregnant man went across the world. They also had some harsh and abusive comments, but after all the harsh times and eight-ten months, Thomas (not on camera) delivered a healthy baby girl named Susan, and a year on, they had another. I thought it was really interesting to see Thomas and Nancy's journey during the pregnancy to the delivery, and I was on their side all the way, I really admire them, and saw how horrible people can be picking on, I was even dubious Harry Hill joking about it on TV Burp (it was amusing I'll admit), a very worthwhile documentary. Very good!
