the Big Wes is one of those independent gems that scores big thanks to it's honesty, humor and traditional underdog story. I'm not just saying that since I DP'd two scenes (Flashback retelling of how they met from Trevor's perspective and the ending). Filmmaker/Actor Damian Bailey truly captured the persona of Wesley Snipes. In the screening, there were a room full of people who had no idea what to expect. What we got were 80 minutes of pure laughter and quotable lines. The Big Wes could very well become a classic like Hollywood Shuffle, CB4, and many more. Kudos to the filmmakers. I would love to see what they could do with a bigger budget. Buckle up for nonstop laughter.
