a tortured psyche unveiled
tony-volpe7 April 2013
This independently funded film offered rich character development, suspenseful writing and an intriguing perspective of a man at war with himself. The story told describes effects of PTSD of a soldier fresh home from the war in Iraq. However, as the story unfolds the viewer discovers that his mental anguish began long before the war began and continues to present day. As the main actor struggles to deal with his tortured psyche and remain a functional member of society, he begins to become more unraveled and unstable. He struggles with suicidal tendencies and murderous thoughts which he feels if followed through will end the war. Several interesting characters associated with his life react opposite to stereotypes which creates a fresh perspective on people in certain occupations. However, the only person who can save the main character is himself. Who will win? Who will live? Who will die? watch to find out!
