"Based on" doesn't mean that it's a documentary. It's made clear elsewhere that this show is just loosely based on what that man did. If you missed it on IMDb, do a Wikipedia search - that guy didn't manage HALF of what our protagonist did. They are doing topical shows. It's not a period piece. I agree that they should maybe make that more clear in broadcasting the show, but at the same time, to be fair, there is a disclaimer at the end of every episode that this stuff didn't really happen. It's a fictional account. It might be an idea to do a little homework before posting a review for all to see, because your review makes you look foolish. Just a thought.

Powerful episode related to COVID

This accurately portrays what it felt like back in March/April 2020 when we were just getting used to the idea of masks and social distancing. People wearing masks and bandanas below their noses, as still happens. I would be surprised if this plot didn't play out for real in some prisons. Presents both prison and medical settings. Well done.

I've read all the other reviews and par for the course the majority are absolutely slating this episode, moaning on about a part of modern history being brought into a television series! Some obviously misunderstand the concept of a character being 'based' on a real person! Lots not correct, the timeline, the fact he was only a paralegal not a lawyer and oh yeah got divorced!
This episode was fantastic and brought back how only 3 years ago the world was in crisis and people were dying in vast numbers it made me wonder what it would be like now if there hadn't been a vaccine rolled out, because whether you personally had it or not it was the vaccine roll out that got restrictions lifted and even now hospital cases are on the rise in the UK.
I thought this episode dealt with it really well and personally think for s program airing originally in November 21 that it couldn't be ignored!

Come on, bringing COVID into this. Thats just weak writing and some may even say profiting from this enormous crisis.
It wasn't needed for the story, most people watch these kind of shows to escape from the daily grind. I loved the story. Now I am really disappointed and it makes me want to drop this show.

Covid does not fit into storyline

I thought, this show was based on true events based on one's life. Back then Covid wasn't a thing why drag it into the episode. Now I question whether the previous episodes were based on true events or not after watching this.

This covid episode was so annoying to watch I couldn't stand it. Literally 30 minutes in and its trash. I get filming during COVID is serious but we didn't have to witness more scare tactics of this virus on leasiure TV. I hope the next episode is much better.

So, I am watching this in 2022, and you add an episode in covid, which had nothing to do with this story? If you watch this later then when it was aired you see how stupid that is to add to your story. The brainwash tactics were just deliberate. Just tell the story and stop this covid narrative in tv shows!

This "show" is based on a real mans life experiences 10-11 years ago! Was COVID a thing in his life when he just got out of prison? First started practicing law on the outside? Cmon now... stick to "HIS" timeline...no?? I mean don't we ALL need a break from covid at this point!!
