nice romance

Warning: Spoilers
Ever since the beginning of "iCarly", I knew something had to happen with the characters of Freddie and Sam. It is like I always say which I don't know if it's a actual saying...

'If I didn't like you, I wouldn't be picking on you.'

Think about it... Would you do what Sam does if you hated that person? I don't think so.

That's why it was nice to see that 'nice romance' apology/kiss because of Sam's foolish revenge. But it will be foolish if the writers let it go... it is too much friction between them to see them not together.

So, "iCarly" writers... don't let it get away or you will insult the intelligent audience out here that knows that Freddie and Sam are meant to be.

Okay, I admit it's sweet.

Warning: Spoilers
***SPOILER ALERT***

From the beginning of iCarly, one aspect of the show has been clear; Freddie wants Carly to be his girlfriend, and for that reason, many who watch iCarly would love an episode where that becomes true. If I were a teenage boy, I would be much more attracted to girls who look like Jennette McCurdy than Miranda Cosgrove. But I am neither Nathan Kress or the character he's known for playing today, nor am I even a teenage boy, so I can put my own tastes aside and share in hopes that they can get together permanently.

Freddie plays a prank on Sam in retaliation for one of the pranks she played on him. Naturally, Sam wants revenge, but she's not entirely sure when or what kind. Later on after seeing a bad teen romantic comedy called "The First Kiss," the iCarly crew discuss their first, and Sam steps out to go to a local convenience store. Forgetting to grub money from Carly she overhears Freddie admit that he never kissed a girl(yet for some reason, Valerie from "iWill Date Freddie" doesn't count). Maybe he's waiting for his first kiss to be with Carly... or somebody better. Anyway, during an iCarly web-cast, Carly, Sam, Gibby, and some extras perform in a mock movie trailer for "Kelly Cooper: Terrible Movie," which is a hilarious parody of bad clones of "She's All That." But it's after that sketch that Sam exposes Freddie's secret, and it seems his whole world is about to tumble to the ground.

Meanwhile, Spencer is considering trying out for Seattle's non-existent National Football League franchise. I suppose Dan Schneider couldn't get expressed written consent from the NFL to mention the Seattle Seahawks, so the crew at Schneider's Bakery made a name up. Eventually, he realizes he'd never make the cut, and his side-dream and the Seattle Cobras are no more. After a few of these segments involving Spencer's failed efforts to get in shape for the Cobras tryouts, Carly blasts Sam over her revelation about Freddie, and makes her feel guilty. They end up doing the show without Freddie, and Sam interrupts a segment to apologize to him and threatens anybody who has been making fun of him, only to run off in the middle of a show and do what Seddie fans have been waiting for probably since Season 1.

The kiss, which was covered in some teeny-bopper magazine a couple of months earlier, was done simply to get that one rite of passage out of the way. It's nowhere near as passionate as Carly and Freddie in "iSaved Your Life," but that doesn't make this any less sappy. Even if you're not a die-hard Seddie shipper, you can still enjoy this.
