This is a tale of deception, drugs and death. It all begins with a drug dealer negotiating a deal with a mobster. However, unexpectedly, some shmoe accidentally finds the money and takes it home. His wife convinces them to take it and run--a decision that turns out in hindsight to be very bad indeed.
The story is well directed and acted. I also liked the music--very appropriate. In fact, there was little not to like except for one cliché that didn't quite fit. There's a scene where a man comes home and finds a killer in his house with a gun. Once he got the gun away from the killer, the man throws the gun aside and fights it out like a he-man! No sane person would do this, and if he really wanted information from the hood about why he was there or what happened to his wife, why didn't he just shoot him in the kneecaps?! In an otherwise immaculate plot, this macho moment just didn't fit. Still, if that's my biggest complaint, then this is still a pretty good little film.
