They're idiots, but that's the novelty of Beavis and Butthead. The movie was surprisingly just as good as the previous one. Now, the series continues with the same genuine comedy with a modern twist. Keep 'em coming, Mike Judge!

The Cale Dobbs commentary is alone why I gave this a 10

As usual the story is OK-funny but the video commentary is hilarious. I wonder why they don't just do that. I would love it if they did 90s videos again as they're such easy targets...although I do appreciate them ragging on the new social media garbage.
Funniest parts were the music clips and social videos.

In the first part of the episode, there is a very funny dialog during a country song. I had trouble breathing from laughing so hard. In the second part of the episode, they had an exchange during an ASMR video which was one of the most hysterical moments I've ever seen on any screen. Really funny stuff. Kudos to Mr. Judge.
They're back and dumber than ever!!

Beavis and Butt-head are best experienced in short bursts. The new feature, "Beavis and Butt-head Do the Universe", is frustratingly loaded with annoying non-Beavises and non-Butt-heads, and plot deviations that have nothing to do with the single-minded obsessions we cherish these two lovable innocents for. Rating: one Huh.
I'm glad to see they are back in the vignette brève configuration that best suits their unique, subtle exploration of the human foibles we can all understand. In "Escape Room", an unforeseen circumstance throws them into a situation that will require all of their considerable wile to handle. Luckily, a handle does present itself, and they are able as ever to resolve any difficulty by shifting their expectations away from problem-solving to making the best of things. If only we all could do likewise. Two huhs.
"The Special One" is quite an unexpected surprise. Butt-head does not appear this time; instead it allows Beavis to meet his soulmate - will he score? The answer upends our expectations - perhaps what is Cool and what Sucks are after all situational. Ten heh-heh-hehs.

Typical B&B, not as masterful as their first comeback

I've always been a superfan of the show, and the first time it returned I sincerely could not stop laughing per usual. This episode follows up to their recent movie, and the movie was alot funnier in comparison. I think that Mike Judge is maybe reserving his better ideas for later on. I'm not too keen on the social media clips either. I think that modern music is bad enough to the point that they have endless content to parody. All in all, it is better to have the boys back than to not have them at all.
FAIL.

These first two episodes sucked. Whoever wrote The Mummy's Tomb got Beavis and Butt-Head's characters all wrong. They are not so stupid that they don't understand basic english like "left" and "right", "push" and "pull". How do you think they get to their jobs at Burger World? The dialog and actions were all wrong for the characters.
The second fire episode was simply boring. Why is the fire saying these things to Beavis? It just didn't make sense and wasn't funny.
How can Beavis and Butt-Head make a comeback for a new generation if Mike Judge is letting these clueless writers ruin the original characters and humor?
