The heroine (Poorani) comes in search of the hero (Raja) to confess her love for him. After a lots of hurdles heroine gets the opportunity to confess the love for him. Heroine stops herself to confess the for him. Hero understood that someone came in search of him and that is a schoolgirl. If the heroine revealed herself if she is the one came in search of him. There is a high possibility that the hero would have accepted her love. But the heroine stopped herself in pursuing him further. Because she knows he is not searching for her like she came in search of him. He is not into her like she into him. For a teenager perspective I can understand her feelings. Too often we force our feelings and love on others. In return they may accept our love. We may feel this as our victory/accomplishment not only teenager/ even as adult we do the same. It is important to know what the other person is feel about us. Because love is not a one side thing. It is a mutual thing. Involved with two person feelings. The heroine is wise enough to stop it there without pursuing it any further.
