Between strengths and weaknesses
giovannipreti23 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Fazbear and Friends is probably the most popular animated series based on Five Nights at Freddy's in 2021. Although each episode or shorts have made more than a million views, this does not mean that it is a masterpiece. The four main episodes I found very interesting, funny and meaningful and episode 4 is a great quote to Toy Story and I really liked it. But unfortunately the series is full of shorts, that is mini episodes that show the characters in really unlikely situations. The creators focus too much on creating absurd and meaningless scenes just to try to entertain the little ones. And this thing also suits me well but seriously only in the real episodes the characters do not behave like idiots?!. But now with the arrival of the "spin-off" series of Circus Baby's World has become a mess! The two series have mixed, the titles are only fake, the miniatures do not talk about it and seriously, now Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy have become far too secondary characters and instead for three weeks Circus Baby has become the real protagonist and really this thing has broken. But the series has a beautiful animation, an excellent vocal cast, a phenomenal theme song and I must say that many moments have always entertained me. I can't give a 10/10 because it's really confusing now but it's still a good product.

Great jokes and references to pop culture
whitemicahjohn18 November 2021
Definitely for the kids but is still very amusing for those like me who grew up playing the game. There are some minor things such as the little amounts of crude language. If your kid doesn't understand then it's fine. I'm sure people can criticize this in many ways but from my time watching it's a great show and I'm sure will continue to be great.

My experiences with Fazbear and Friends
michellejackson-8575726 July 2022
Okay, this is gonna be a review on one of my least favorite channels I used to love back then, but just gave up on by the end of the year. You know what I'm talkin' about: Fazbear & Friends, a FNAF Minecraft animated series created by EnchantedMob and ZAMination themselves. This might be a great and comedic show for kids, while also being one of the most hated and criticized upon many. Love it or not, I've been following since day 1, and even then, I still don't like the shorts, so to express my hate with this show, here's a story covering my experiences with Fazbear and Friends! (yey....) So first, we gotta start at the beginning; the first episode dropped post-Valentine's Day and I was intrigued. It was a Minecraft FNAF video, and I loved it!... I mean, I never liked Freddy and Chica's voices because they were just southern accents. But the plot was fun; it was about Foxy's missing hook (and they even left a major error on him that removed his eyepatch and even his hole in his chest)! Plus, I liked it so much that I even found the source of it all: Bonnie! He was dumb but incredibly funny. He's like SpongeBob, but purple, and a furry, and a robot. Afterwards, I waited a month for a second episode.

And that episode was about Chica - who is by far the most dramatic out of the cast - being sick. They could've just said that she had a virus since she's a machine. Anyway, it was also good even though I didn't like the plot since it focused on Chica (and for the record, I'm not being feministic). Then, we moved on to April, where we got Episode 3, where we got Bonnie, Mr. Dum-Dum himself, have his guitar break. I absolutely loved it! I mean, we got a musical number, a reference to coquelicot (yes that's an actual color), a comedic ending, and a sponsorship!... But then, things changed. Right after Episode 3 dropped, the series took a break for a month. Turns out that they were working on Episode 4, and to keep their fans entertained, they did the dumb thing and created a series of shorts to keep them busy while they worked on Episode 4. I liked them at first before slowly but surely just going against them and just wanted the 4th episode to drop. And to be honest, I liked some of the new additions like Springtrap and Purple Guy. And yes, Springtrap and Purple Guy are separate entities in the F&F universe for some reason and he goes by the name Purple Guy instead of William Afton. Afterwards, Episode 4 finally dropped on Sunday June 27, 2021. I waited for TWO MONTHS AND 19 DAYS FOR THE 4TH EPISODE TO DROP!!!! >:(.... Anyway, Episode 4 was special cus it featured everyone's favorite daughter of Afton's, Circus Baby! And please stop with this because they literally sexualized her to make her look sexy. Please stop Rule 34-ing female FNAF. Anyway, we got funny stuff, Circus Baby might actually have a crush on Freddy, and many others. But after that, the series started to get rotten. Really rotten.

By July, they got to work on Poppy Playtime, and they even just stuck to producing shorts from now on cause all they care about now is money! They created a F&F spinoff called Circus Baby's World that merged with the main series by October, started introducing other Indie characters like Bendy and FNF, introduced dumb and stupid original characters like Circus Blueby who's basically Pinkie Pie but blue and a robot, and they didn't care about making new episodes after that. By October, we got a new video covering Circus Baby and Funtime Freddy, no kidding, becoming their mainstream counterparts from the games! No joke, they became their game counterparts! But what surprised me is that the short was released on both channels with different titles and thumbnails, but when you clicked on the EnchantedMob version, we just got some short of Not-Michael-Afton just electrocuting Ballora in the most grueling CPR tests ever! THAT'S CLICKBAIT!! But the dumb part of this channel was the inclusion of a certain Netflix show: yup, Squid Game! Remember Squid Game! That Netflix show that basically hypnotized everyone in October? Yeah. Every channel was in on the Squid Game trend. Even my favorite channels such as SMG4 and Annoying Orange joined the ride for a little bit! Even Fazbear & Friends. October was when they changed to a Squid Game format for a little bit and included Steve, Baldi, blah blah blah, I hated it! At the start of November, we got the female characters having a sleepover and arguing over how sexy they are because I guess if Circus Baby was a narcissist in the past I guess why not make the others narcissists as well?

And December was worse. Alongside Girl Foxy because she's a thing in F&F apparently, we got Girl Bonnie, and even the Security Breach cast! Yeah, December 18 was when ZAM! Created a Security Breach vid to celebrate it's release and I hated it because Vanny was nothing like her counterpart from the games. Christmas was the week after and instead of a fun Christmas special, we got... ugh, sexy Toy Chica. Why? Eventually, they created "movies", which, if you have 400 IQ, is just a bunch of clips mashed together in a compilation. I felt that 2022 could get better. It just got worse. They made more crossovers with Poppy Playtime, more shorts, more shorts with the Security Breach cast and didn't even bother putting them in the Mega Pizzaplex! Were they just too lazy to design the Pizzaplex at all?! Afterwards, I gave up on it. They just eventually started lying to their fans by using clickbait titles, thumbnails and even clickbait characters. Fans just turned against them. So there you have it. An entire review of my experiences with this dumb FNAF Minecraft combo in one. So many love it and hate it. Also, I believe that the shorts are just publicity stunts at this point; they're purposely making clickbait to get more money in their safe. I mean, the main cast is back after a while, but they're still using the SB (Security Breach, not Strong Bad) cast as well. So there you go. I used to love this. But by August, I just stopped caring. It was too much. Have a nice day... And please make Episode 5 already you goons. >:(

Ok, but boring and childish
carpalthought8 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Disclaimer: (I'm not shaming anyone personally that works on this project.)

Honestly when I first saw Fazbear and Friends, I thought it was a crappy minecraft roleplay, turns out it was beyond worse. These stories are awfully childish and aren't at all like the solid animation quality Zamination had in their older videos. Why do we need a kid friendly fnaf video? The plots are boring and awfully childish with the characters having to look for Foxy's hook, chica getting sick (How do animatronics get sick?) and Bonnie breaking his guitar and singing a filler song about color. Then we get an episode that's just a ripoff of the first toy story movie. The only iconic characters are Circus Baby, Purple Guy (OH BOY, I'LL GET TO HIM.), and Springtrap. The rest of the cast are just a meh. I did enjoy that one Bendy short though, it got me cracking up. The rest of the shorts are okay or just plain boring. And some of them are just clickbait for absolutely no reason. This series also ruined Purple Guy's character by making him a bully to fit their childish demographic.

But on a positive note, I wanna say this series has some iconic highlights like the animatronics getting arrested for counterfeit money. I really hope we get more Circus Baby and the shorts seem to hint on that. This series has a lot of good potential but if it becomes boring and childish, then it's not worth my time watching.

Pros and cons
orangeidol30 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Fazbear & Friends is good and all, but the shorts are the problem. They can get boring at times, but some shorts redeem the boredom and make them enjoyable. A laugh-out-loud piece of comedy.

INSULTINGLY CRINGE
gabrielle-0478521 May 2023
Hate me if you want, but just so you all know, I'm glad this series is finally over.

I watched the first few episodes of this series and I thought it was okay, but the part that downgraded it was the shorts. They arrange from being mediocre to downright cringe! Like, something random will come out of nowhere and you're all like, "Huh? Excuse me?"

Another issue with this series is the crossovers. Bendy is ABSOULTLY ANNOYING! Baldi is not great, and the Among us dude does NOTHING. The only crossover I liked was Poppy Playtime. The characters were actually cute.

As the Fazbear gang, they're not too great themselves. They are kind of an insult to the original Fazbear and Friends.

Fazbear & Friends' Repetitive Day
giovannipp-2822917 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The truth must be told, Fazbear and Friends has become hideous. The new shorts are so unfunny that they are now about characters other than Five Nights at Freddy's Animatronics. I appreciate the various crossovers, the voices of the voice actors but after a while the series started to become a boring slop. You watch them and are "entertained" but then nothing sticks with you. It really fell down after the Security Breach shorts and it's not like if you insert currently popular characters, it means it's always a masterpiece.

The cast is great but the creators don't listen. We still don't have the fifth episode and they keep making useless short films! An 8 as a rating this series does not deserve it. It used to be funny and interesting now not anymore. They should go back to making the episodes, the Circus Baby one was great but then we got nothing else. In fact the new shorts only serve to promote Poppy Playtime Chapter 3, which is still a great video game. In conclusion, the series is repetitive as crap, it is not always funny, and the people who make the titles are the king of clickbait.
