Okay, but why be political when it's wrong?

Obama didn't unite anything, and why did you even have to get political? Otherwise, it still fell short of being good. I'd much rather watch the original again. I expected it to be worse, so that's good. It was still very hokey, which is what I felt from the trailer. It was rather vulgar in parts and I it didn't need to be.

Not even close to the quality or story line of the original movie. And what happened to Aolia? King Joffrey's Queen.

Should Not Have Happened

Disappointed that they took a great film and totally social washed it down, and politicized it. The most attractive thing about Murphy and Arsenio has always been how they made fun of our cultures. They should have left the story centered around the oldest daughter trying to prove herself worthy of being the first queen...a replay of the original but with their daughter. The whole son thing was just stupid. And then to throw in lines to further cause divide instead helping us laugh at ourselves was a low blow. Disappointed... Gave it 4 stars because they brought back the barber guan, Randy Watson and the dirty preacher

Waste of time

Both my wife and I were really looking forward to this movie, being fans of the original. We watched this movie yesterday and about halfway in I noticed neither of us had a single laugh or chuckle.

We decided not to waste another second on this horrible excuse for a movie. First movie we've stopped watching in 20 years.
