Having endured the overly masculine series for many a grueling hour I enjoyed having most filler and fluff dialogue cut down in order to focus more on the characters motivations and their relationships between them which defines their strength. The differences between Lagann-Hen and the original series are minor but do serve the movies time-frame as opposed to a full 26 episode series.

This movie, in my opinion, fixes the biggest problem I had in the anime, which is an element of the ending. It focuses a little more on this, and thus makes it feel far more earned.
Apart from that, we get to see even cooler and longer fights than what we saw in the episodes that this movie adapts, which now feel rushed when compared to how they're executed here. I was really surprised with how much they changed in this movie as well, there's quite a few scenes that play out very different to the anime.
The one issue I'd say I have is that Rossiu doesn't have as much development here, but if you watched the anime you don't really need to see it again, as you 'd know why he's the way he is.
Overall though, I think it's an improvement over the original. It has longer and better fight scenes, even cooler mechas and an ending that feels much, much more earned in my opinion ^^

I have seen the anime TV series and these 2 movies 1: Guren-Hen 2: Lagann-Hen add the little extra to the story line.
Throughout the entire film I was getting psyched and pumped at the sheer epicness and adrenaline the characters portray.
Some of the characters you get envious of because you aren't them! But want to be sooooo bad.
The TV series and Parallel works are highly recommended before watching these 2 movies, but it isn't necessary too enjoy from it's great marvel.
Large screen recommended when viewing Tengen Toppa Guren Lagann!!

Well here I m shouldn't review this one cause already put my thoughts of the last one, would say exceed the last one for the Crackaboom visuals n the story, like so much about it, dialogue, Gurren library, the good old fists fight.
Wasn't ye see it ye get fate high up to spear the skies make yer Nirvana n there lots of em that hold no block making believe what ye watching is just another based anime, but meaning of the human spirit that only Simone can say it better, Look at me motive ya, huh.
The variety of Lagan when their fighting the anti spiral from sniper mode to indu god is like watching that racist gundam the Mexican one if haven't seen it, my fav goes to Nia love the spear n how she run to stab him Now thats spectacles.
Last the fist fight between Simone n anti spiral it was Crackaboom epic love the layout on how they orchestrated right in the face, didn't stop not when Simone goes megaman powers turning he's arm n what else a drill, pretty awesome move should adding in fight game.
So conclude I m sucker for this anime like said it saw five or six but never the movie version, made me feel epicanility awesome. And that Gurren Lagan is about, if ya wanna see something that doesn't take seriously n have message that make ya live a long life, then my OtakuHeads is for you.

The ending fight is very awesome

What i love the most from this movie is a pure action fight in the ending of the film, and we see two largest entities the size of universe
Battle each other in an awesome pure action and energy, and the ending is very awesome and cool
