So I love this show. This episode was needed. As we delve more in the mystery of Daniel and what happened to him and how it impacted his family and friends, we get a whole episode with the best character on the show (come on we all love Willie Jack) and her father on a hunting trip. No spoilers here, however there is a scene where you might need some tissues close by, but in a good way. Best episode so far this season. A+.

Willie Jack steals the show

The chemistry between Willie Jack and her father really shined in this episode. Willie Jacks humor brought life to this episode and to see her more vulnerable really grabs your heart. Her father was just as funny and I loved seeing them together talking about the past and delving more into how Daniel was. This was a heart to heart episode which felt needed. This show has not disappointed! Love it!

I can't recall the last time I saw something so moving. Brilliantly written and acted. At times I felt as if I was watching real life - the emotions are heartfelt and honest. Both of these actors deserve Emmys, at the very least. They have a lot to be proud of with their work here, as do the writer and director.
Most boring episode

Although it is tough to put things with 26 mins, this particular episode did not have that much of contents. As far I can tell 4 or 5 different scenes. There was not much of suspense. The scenes were also predictable. If I consider only the acting and the dialogues, I would recommend watching dramas.

This was amazing. Both characters were able to open up and heal pieces of themselves. Her need to leave for California is really a need to escape her grief over the loss of Daniel. This interaction with her father, her land, her people, and Chubs made that need to escape much less. I would show this in classrooms and therapy groups if I wasn't retired.
