Bill is a young boy who wakes up one morning to discover he's now a girl, even though he knows he's really a boy. Throughout the day, he faces various situations that highlight and contrast our attitudes towards boys and girls. For example, his writing skills are the same as when he was a boy and is criticised by the teacher for being messy, yet the boy sitting next to him whose writing is worse is praised for his work. At the end of the day, Bill discovers to his great relief that he's now a boy again.
