I don't know who dressed Julien in that awful green bikini but it should never look like that or fit that poorly. I couldn't even focus on anything else. The actress deserved better. R/ABraThatFits.

It did not feel like a proper finale, but I'm sure they had their reasons. I just would have loved more kristen bell voice over. I miss the old gossip girl in a way, but I still like this one? I feel like the character development was really slow this season all for them to speed it up in this 1 episode. I'm interested to see where it goes in the future. Thank you everyone who worked on it!

This show went uphill

Look, it is a good show. There are still things that should be worked on, but it is becoming more and more interesting show. I really hope it will get more and more interesting with the new season!

all jc's character development is going backwards

The JC the writers were trying to give us during episodes 5-11 was a TOTALLY different JC than episode 12 JC. I'm sorry, but this finale was bad.

Nothing exciting happenned, no cliffhanger, just back to episode 1.

Is HBO ok? How did this even get a season 2...

The writers seem to have no idea what they're doing and clearly need a lot of help. This entire season was all over the place, no direction, inconsistent, flat characters, barely a storyline. It's just a complete mess.

This episode barely anything happens. The forced throuple is finally done going back and forth. Julien and Obie didn't get back together and he has a random new girlfriend... out of nowhere. Luna got a random last minute love interest, are we suppose to care? Cuz we don't, there's no build up just random characters appearing out of no where..

They clearly saw the backlash the show got and reworked some things for the finale. They seem to be softly rebooting Julien's character... to make her mean? I'm not even sure...

Why are the teachers still GG? Why were they even written to be GG in the first place..? It's extremely dumb.

Overall, this entire season felt like nothing happened. The finale feels like they're starting over going into season 2. In reality this show should've gotten canceled cuz it's a waste of money and potential. A Gossip girl reboot deserves a better writing team and directing.
