I watched "On the Sidewalk" during a recent screening with a few colleagues and we were really blown away.... I don't think I've ever seen a 20 minute movie that made me so emotional in so little time.
First off who are these actors and why aren't they in more movies? River and Luke are incredible, and they totally have a new fan! They delivered huge performances worthy of awards... The chemistry was off the charts, just natural and irresistible.
You can see the true pain and compassion and warmth in Luke's eyes... And when River gives the speech during the last half, I found myself tearing up before I knew it.... Out of the literal hundreds of indie films I've seen over the past few years, River delivered one of the most touching scenes I've seen. These actors deserve all of the awards they get, and I can't wait to see them again.
