Amos And the Movie Star!
offempspec25 October 2018
What a great idea! Put 3 iconic movie icons in a 30 minute skit about a West Virginian farmer who moved to Califor-n-eye-yay!

First there's the star, Walter Brennan, the cantankerous Amos McCoy, beloved character actor who moved his farming family to the Golden State from West Virginia. Add in former Vaudeville and western sidekick Andy Clyde as Amos' best friend! Raising the bar was the star of the Grange play held in the McCoy barn is the marvelous Fay Wray as herself! AMos applauds her work with a big mnkey that Clyde tells him was King Kong.

Amos figures a way to make a little extra cash by charging for parking and Andy is the leading man thrilled to death to have the script written so he gets to kiss Fay several times passionately! Amos is put off, of course, since he gets all the clean-up chores while Andy gets the mush scenes! In the end it all comes out well. The parking fees were given to the Grange by the McCoy farmhand .Pepino,

It is a funky 30 minute sit-com that is well written and done by top flight actors. After the Real McCoys can the Beverley Hillbllies be far behind?
