I don't really know what to think about that movie. On one side, you get a movie on mental health that is very much needed in our society, one that doesn't show anxiety as something taboo. But even the people working with the health of people don't get how bad the situation is, something against which they are trained to react... 'just take these pills, go for a drive and come back to work' basically said by a nurse... A reaction that could literally bring to suicide. The relationship between the 2 main characters is interesting though, but even the things that get resolved have a taste of 'but... What happened?' the actors are great in their role, nothing against their acting job, but the scenario and the direction are quite bad. The ending leaves you on a weird note of 'wait... Is that over?' what a weird way of talking such an important and interesting topic.

Extreme therapy

Excellent tragicomedy carried by very good actors , director and scriptwriter with an original and beautiful method to free oneself from the terrible anguish and the protective bubble that the car represents. I was a little hesitant after watching the teaser. But do not hesitate, you will not regret it.
This is one of the sweetest tales

A man in his 20s and a woman in her 40s possibly 50s and both are struggling with grief in effect
And it's symptomises in a very different way in each case
At one point the young man cuts out a hole in the roof of the car which will come in very handy right at the end of the film; but we do not know that and we suppose he does not either
We trudge through some of the most beautiful parts of western France in a yellow possibly mustard-coloured Volvo which looks glorious in those landscapes
The whole time the mood is bittersweet; with a couple of ancillary characters but really it is between this young man and this middle-aged woman a sort of dance of mother and son and it is very touching and very human; a very very sweet tale indeed ps i would have chosen "Freefall" as a title in ENG not "Freestyle"
