What does Rupool see in Scarlett that he likes so much? Anyway, the commercials were awful, but I still think they could've chosen a winner. The whole episode seemed kind of pointless and overproduced. River and Kitty really shined this episode so very I'm happy for them. The runway was also really great.

Definetly a low point for drag race UK,and it's nothing to do with the queens.
The challenge was terrible. I don't understand how they could have thought they could've made an Alexa funny. This is UK drag race, so it shouldn't be expected to cater to US audiences. Why couldn't we have things that are more rooted here?
I hated the fact Rupaul did the 'who should go home aspect' one thing I've enjoyed about the UK season is the lack of arguments,and when they do happen they are iconic and often quite funny in retrospect. But this obviously pitted the queens against eachother and it's clearly left the mood sour.
I just think the producers have tried to cater to Americans this episode, bringing unnecessary drama and once again Rupaul has a lack of understanding of brutish humour.
The 6/10 is for the mini challenge,lip sync and the queens putting up with some seriously bad editing decisions.

This episode was.. mental. The challenge itself wasn't that great of an idea anyway, so many similar things have been done before on previous seasons so I don't get why Ru is taking it so seriously that it needs to be 'original' when the challenge is far from it itself.. it makes no sense.
I do agree that the trailers were awful, I don't think I laughed once - but I do think Ru could've chosen a winner, even if it was based off the runway look as a majority. I'm a bit annoyed how the Queens have been in teams for 3 out of the 5 challenges so far - I think this would've been much more interesting if the Queens went solo here so they can have more creative freedom themselves.
I do agree with the Bottom 2 placements, it was a GAG they were the same as last week! And if anything, I can't decide myself who should've gone home. Both Queens did really well in the lip-sync, and Ru really seems to like Scarlett currently so maybe that plays a part in it.. I don't know.
Overall, this episode again was just a bit of a mess. I feel like it could've been a lot better but unfortunately it just didn't deliver. Really hoping that next week is better because this season isn't living up to what Season 2 was currently.

If this was the US version then the outcome would have been different. For some reason Ru thought this wasn't "it" but the last 5 seasons of Drag Race USA are literally at this level. River Medway deserved a win. Ru is delusional. Do better.
A bad maxi challenge with lack of concept

Well that was an "interesting" episode. I followed the discussion on Reddit, and I must agree especially with this perspective:
"I think more than anything else, the maxi challenge had a terrible concept. There is so little you can with "draglexa"... in a 45 minute film time with limited resources..." and such a short amount time.
Furthermore, I must say that many of the maxi-challenges this season is quite too simplistic and unoriginal.. I do NOT blame the queens for this one - and the judges, especially Ru seems to be overly delusional this episode to be honest.. NOT flattering at all to safe the episode by pulling off such a stunt.

As someone who lost all hope in UK3, with the last 3 episodes being very mediocre, I thought this episode gave me just the right amount of everything I needed to get back on track with this season.
The challenge was so messy, but in a good way. It wasn't a complete tragedy, it was just not innovative or creative in any kind of way. I still really enjoyed it, probably for that very reason. And the lack of laughs and the straight faces of the judges cracked me up.
The runway was fine, even though I don't think this category was necessary, it doesn't really differ from "Red carpet show stopper", anyway, the real gag was the no-winner announcement, I died.
The judges were so confused, they had to ask the queens who should go home cuz no one was a stand-out. Thus, building a bottom 3 from the queens responses (otherwise I wouldn't understand why Vanity was low, I think I would have given her the win actually...)
The queens go back to untucked, the shade continues and Scarlett is upset and runs off, then during the lipsync she slays the hell out of Charity, who just previously danced circles around her. Such a shady moment. But Scarlett gave my life with that amazing performance.

The challenge was a mess, but the drama that ensued after is top tier television with a killer lipsync to top it off and a bittersweet elimination. Great episode for lovers of drama, horrible episode for the contestants.

Most entertaining episode to date! Although the challenge was a cringe it made up for it in the lip sinc and the drama between the queens. I think that a win for either River or Ella could have been justified but I enjoyed the lack of a winner for once, keeping us on our toes.

I definitely think the drama was one of the best we have ever seen on drag race uk (we haven't seen many fights in drag race uk so far, that's probably the main reason why i found it so interesting), the runway was ok although there were some amazing looks, like river's.
The lip sync was good, i think scarlett did amazing and charity tried to do her quirky moves that didn't quite match the song while scarlett was giving us facial expressions and she was very fierce doing all that - also, loved when she dropped the money. That's pretty much all i have to say, very entertaining episode overall.
