Finally, a good storyline
readsmuzic20 January 2022
The storylines lately have been very far fetched, or just plain boring. This one was good. Yeah, there were still some "that wouldn't work" moments, but finally, I was pleasantly surprised. Good script, good storyline. About time, NCIS. Thanks for restoring my faith in you.

All Hands

Warning: Spoilers
There was a little bit of excitement in this one, but as far as hostage situations go it was pretty tame. Poorly scripted bad guys if they thought just handful of them could interfere with multiple federal agencies.

One of the better episodes of this season
harrykivi26 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The last few episodes of "NCIS" have been rather disappointing. The only exception being "Docked", which I quite enjoyed. "All Hands" is one of the better episodes of this season. It's not great, but miles better than "Pledge of Allegiance" or "Peacekeeper".

Let's start with the good.

. The production values of the episode are great. "All Hands" is well-directed, the music fits the scenery. The acting's fine for the most part. I am really getting into Alden Parker as the leader of Gibbs' team.

. The mystery is mostly intriguing with some solid twists and moments of intensity. There action scenes did not bother me at all. Though I do agree that Palmer is not that hard to find on this ship.

But...

. The humor does not always work. The subplot about the Cyber team being mad at Mcgee was kind of childish actually.

. The solution felt a bit rushed too. Wished to have learned a lot more about the terrorists.

Overall, a solid episode.

7/10 HK.

Best Episode in a long While

This episode was one of the best in a long time. Still waiting to see when Gibbs (Mark Harmon) returns which would top this episode. Really loved how they attempted to fix the paper doll 🎁.

Cracking storyline, great team effort by ALL involved

Warning: Spoilers
The team on dry land do as much to beat the bad guys as the team onboard in the middle of the Atlantic.

Parker is turning into the new-style grey-haired re-incarnation of MacGyver from the ??1980s?? Crawling through ductwork, jury-rigging a signal cable for a sat-phone, broadcasting a "home-in-on-this" signal for Tim (and the basement Cyber team wo whom Timmy owes - and delivers - a BIG apology).

Knight and Torres cope with a bit of rough-housing whilst the sub-plot about stealing a $USD40million helicopter is somewhat plausible.

The whole team work together and this was a pleasure to watch, as the third in a four-episode binge on UK television in early February 2024.

I shall watch this again - some time.

Just small time theft
ffacfgsjz20 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
After so much real military hardware was left in Afghanistan, this episode amounted to petty theft. The ease with which the remaining private security facilitated a capture was cringeworthy. I habitually avoid watching the next episode promos that appear at the end of each episode because they give away too much, but this time I was unfortunate to catch the promo just before the show began. I enjoyed the Star Trek references and the emoji puzzle.

Warning: Spoilers
Script was good and acting was consistent. The staging was awful! The shootout was a joke. The blood placement was amateur. The fact that the 'bad guys' couldn't find Palmer and the pilot when they were visible just by walking through the ship and looking in the door windows - was unrealistic. I'm not the most observant or picky on these types of things - so the fact that I noticed and it bothered me reveals just how bad it was.

NCIS Ups and Downs - This was Down
PartialMovieViewer30 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Acting meh - too many Billy-Bad-Asses or everyone wants to be Gibbs wannabes. Script- words were put together and flowed...show misses Gibbs. I like the lab rat, Parker, the director and the original proby. The others need to reevaluate other shows. Ziva- where are you? Only millions of dollars of weapons and one helo? I guess current events are easily forgotten by the masses if they are instructed.
