A truly beautiful film. We get to see 'the boy' (played by palmer wells) deal with a tough "mental hardship" that so many people battle in secret.
As a viewer you get to see what is hidden within as it gnaws at 'the boy' and slowly devours Him from within. The film ultimately leaves you with a longing and desire to love, to care for, and to support those around you. As the film progresses you begin to glimpses of yourself within 'the boy' leading to all more enticing repose to the climax of the film. The film provides the viewer with an opportunity to decide the fate of 'the boy'. Does the boy live or die? Does he succumb to the demon within or does He continue to fight?
The director of the film admitted in an interview that he believes 'the boy' is dead, however, he was clear that it is ultimately up to the viewer to decide for themselves.
