Even though Georgia was missing the rest of the presenters did a brilliant, grown up job and filled in for her. As normal each presenter took up their download and presented it with confidence. They gave insightful comments about subjects and really entertained me and the whole of my family. I have learnt how to juggle now as a result of the weekend download. I also found Dionne's singing astonishing and as usual she blew me away with her version of Alexandra Burke's song. The music tribute download was hilarious to watch and very entertaining. Well done to everyone who sent in a video for that, you've done yourselves proud. The TV download has definitely encouraged me to go and watch some of the programmes suggested.

Friday Download isn't just for young kids it has an older appeal to the show heres living proof.

In the past few years most of CBBC's programming has declined in quality apart from the few memorable shows (Horrible Histories, Blue Peter, Newsround, The Slammer and TMi in my honest opinion).

I'd like to start of and say that this show is brilliant it reminds me of what CBBC used to be. it features 7 young presenters aged between 14-17, and it usually features a viewer (aged over the age of 10 talking about there hobbies one segment) which isn't even in the CBBC demographic (CBBC is aimed at both boys and girls aged 6-13) they all present the program so well and it contains different segments such as

  • Games Download (review 1 or 2 games and the presenters testing the games out)

  • Music Download (this reviews popular songs in the charts and would usually end with a performance from various artists different one each week i.e. Chipmunk, The Wanted, The Saturdays to name a few have appeared on this)

  • Movie Download (reviews current films)

  • Dance Download (features one of the presenters showing a new dance move and how to do it)

  • TV Download (reviewing upcoming/current television programs UK or US)

  • Hot or Not (talking about what is hot or not usually a random subject and talking about it)

  • Joke Download (usually a CBBC star or a famous figure telling a joke)

  • Movie Mistakes Download (this segment contains scenes from popular films from the past and present and the continuity errors in the film, films such as Harry Potter the Philosophers Stone for example)

  • Music Tribute Download (this segment has viewers singing a rendition of a popular song usually a compilation of viewers not just one but several others).

  • Style Download (this segment features a presenter coming to one viewers home and the viewer talking about fashion )

  • Sing Download (this is featured at the end of each song usually at the end of each show)

I'm 18 and this is one of the only decent programs CBBC has to offer nowadays In my humble opinion. And for anyone who hasn't seen this program I recommend you watch it, it is on Fridays at 6pm. Today is the series premiere on the CBBC Channel.
