Once again I'm hooked. I'm surprised that I seem to be the only one commenting on this season. In both episodes we have been shown the future, with Patty sitting in a holding cell while Ellen lies dead at the bottom of a wall. It would seem she has been pushed from several stories up. Knowing this show, I'm sure there is some sort of twist to all this. Back to the circumstances before this. A female lawyer shows up and engages Ellen's trust, then she goes to Patty and tries to play her against Ellen. This leads to an interesting result (I won't spoil it). Ellen is in the convoluted world of Channing McClaren, representing him. He and his minions are in the etherworld, doing things most can't understand. Both parties are looking into the murder of the woman with the investments. McClaren is a genius and a loose cannon, nearly uncontrollable. So thing are boiling. Patty's treatment of Ellen is like a chessmaster trying to make her student into the next master. For the time being, we have put aside the custody battle.
